Hello Ecclesiasticals!

It’s a busy week for me: I’ve just returned from leading tours around Salisbury Cathedral and Old Sarum and launched into my final “real” week at the University of York. On top of that, I’m busily sorting book tour events up and down the country. These will largely occur from September onwards so I’ll likely be visiting a location near you—check out my website for the full list (I’ll keep updating it).

Anyway, I’ve been writing a lot about secular cathedrals and the secular usage of churches, both historically and contemporaneously. And it got me thinking: I haven’t told my Ecclesiasticals about all the fabulous (note, raucous) events which occurred in the church. So, today, I shall right that wrong with perhaps my personal fave!
