Hello Ecclesiasticals!

How are we almost at the end of January already?!

Let’s change tack for today’s post and discuss a tracery light from the east window of Exeter Cathedral. This collegiate church’s documentary records reveal much about the way in which medieval glaziers worked. And this particular panel can be identified as the work of a glazier named in the actual accounts, the second master to work on the window in less than a century.
