Good morning, my lovely Ecclesiasticals!

A busy one this week but I hope one that leads to some interesting content as I’m in Edinburgh, Leicestershire and London over the next 7 days—I know, I’m tired already.

However, I saw the request comment for more grisly tales so I thought we’d start with that this week—and commence we will with perhaps the most infamous tale of the Middle Ages: the slaughter of Thomas Becket, Archbishop of Canterbury. Let’s see what really happened…
